Christian mystic Cynthia Bourgeault uses the language of quantum physics to describe us as both discrete particles and waves. This post calls to my mind that in our ordinary daily existence, we are particles: discrete bundles of organs, skin, thoughts, hopes, worries, and needs. Every so often, though, if we tap into the wider source of love around us, we can be like waves radiating and receiving divine energy across the realms.

So happy that Ian Jr. is doing so well and is starting at CU! And yes, those small moments of recognition of something beyond the normal - little miracles.

We have spotted towhees all day long on our bedroom window bird feeder!

Thankful that Ian II is doing so well. What a journey...

And thank you, Rev. Ian, for your reminder to be present and to know that this life is so large and we are all in the midst of such goodness. Like Will Rogers said, "There's more to us than what's between our hat and our boots."

I found this so lovely to listen to! A lovely meditation. I am in NYC and one of the voice in my head said, "there is nothing to "see" here-it's rainy and cold and frantic. Then the other voice said, "Wait, what BETTER place to look under the surface for the feel the vast and mysterious pulsing of love." I will report back. Thank you.
