Public policy should be evaluated by outcomes not intent. If you can't craft public policy that is effective, people will seek answers elsewhere. We cant afford to be disconnected from the outcomes of our preferences. It is what is driving division.

Most people in the US are living at the obedience or ambition stage of consciousness, where certain candidates and political ideals are more appealing than those of us who are at the sharing level and above. The other thing I’m thinking about is that suffering is causedby expectations, and examining what my expectations are of those around me.
